Power Line Carrier (PLC) systems are used in places where high-voltage electric cabling is used as the medium for the transmission of telecommunications signals.

TTC MARCONI developed the PLC42-OCH device in close cooperation with its partner, OEM. When used together with our PCM30U-OCH, which is intended primarily for the transmission of teleprotection signals over high-voltage networks and the transmission of commands in the energy distribution networks, it ensures the expected reliability.

All devices of the PLC42-OCH family of communications systems are built within the same mechanical system and have the same power supply modules. The settings and management of all devices are implemented via the same system. This feature is important to ensure low costs for any spare parts required, maintenance and employee training.
